AES Solar & Electrical - Service Terms
1. Scope of services
These terms apply to services provided by AES Solar & Electrical (ABN 56 773 147 177). The specifics of each engagement are set out in the quote and any signed work order, which together with these terms form the agreement.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote and reflect the scope and conditions described at the time. Variations to scope, materials, or site conditions may result in price adjustments, which will be discussed and agreed with you before the affected work proceeds.
3. Deposits, cancellation and rescheduling
A deposit is required to secure your booking and commence work. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible. Deposits cover work and materials already committed and may be non-refundable to that extent. We will always talk through the fairest outcome with you.
4. Payment terms
A deposit is payable to commence work, with the balance due on completion unless a progress-payment schedule is agreed in writing for larger installations. Payment is by bank transfer, and invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice.
5. Workmanship and warranties
Statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply to our work and cannot be excluded. Our solar, battery and electrical work is carried out by a licensed electrician and accredited solar installer, and is backed by the relevant statutory warranties. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products such as panels, inverters and batteries.
6. Site access and safety
We require safe and reasonable access to the work area, including roof access and power where the job needs it. Please disclose any known hazards, such as asbestos, fragile roofing, electrical faults or structural issues, before work begins so we can plan and carry out the job safely.
7. Liability and insurance
AES Solar & Electrical carries public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and consistent with the electrical and solar installation trade. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Privacy
AES Solar & Electrical collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy. See /privacy.
9. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
